Can the police pull me over for tinted windows?
Yes, the police can use too dark of tinted windows to pull you over.  We highly recommend keeping your windows within the legal tint range to avoid such unwanted attention.

How much does window film cost?
It varies depending on the quality of the film and the type window tinting installation required for the job  A good range we tell our customers is you should expect to spend between $5 and $7 per square foot.

How much does it cost to get car windows tinted?
A standard tint for a mid-size car using basic window film can cost between $99-$399 depending on the vehicle. Installing higher quality film will include the cost but provide more protection from heat & UV light.

How long do tinted windows last?
A lower tier film can begin fading before a year is up.  Our film is guaranteed to last at least five years but has been known to last upwards of 10 years.

What are the benefits of tinting film?
The benefits to tinting your car, home or office include ease on eye strain, retina protection, UV light reflection, reduce sunlight glare, increased privacy and reduced energy bill costs.

Do tinted windows keep the inside of your car cooler?
Absolutely! Our tinting film keeps a large part of the solar heat produced by the sun out of your car's interior.  As the film reflects the wavelengths generated by the sun, it will keep your car cooler during those toasty summer days.

How do you clean tinted windows?
We recommend cleaning window film using window cleaner- that is without ammonia.  Use a soft cloth or squeegee while doing so to not damage the film.

How long will Plasti Dip last?
With our expert application process, your Plasti Dip job should last up to three years.  By adding layers of Plasti Dip to the car, the surface becomes much more durable in the long run.

Does Plasti Dip hold up under weather conditions?
Plasti Dip is resistant to every type of inclement weather conditions.  This includes rain, sleet, hail, snow or blistering summer heat.

Can I expect Plasti Dip to work the same on tires vs exterior?
Not exactly, for most surfaces Plasti Dip works as you'd expect but there are scenarios where dipping your car doesn't make sense.  These conditions include dents and some DIY paint jobs.  What we typically do is test Plasti Dip on small spots before dipping the whole car.

What is Paint Protection Film?
Paint Protection Film, or Clear Bra application as it's commonly referred to, protects your car from scratches, dents or dings caused by normal weathering and unexpected dings of the roads.  We do this by installing a clear, polyurethane film that is essentially invisible to the eye & won't alter the look of your vehicle.  Don't get this confused with the old 'Clear Bra' application where a leather hood was strapped on to the front of a vehicle.
